I bought a truck.

The San Francisco Car Auction is every third Saturday near the bay in Potero Hill. They auction off cars for various charities and you never know if you're sending your money to Catholic Charities, The Boys and Girls Club or the NRA. My money went to The Giants Community Fund, "a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, that uses baseball as a forum to encourage youngsters to live healthy, productive lives."

All I know is I got a truck from a guy who talked real fast!

It's a great little 1987 Ford Ranger. It smells like 14 years of cigarette smoke and it has more nicks than a 13-yr-old learning how to shave. I'm sure I'll have to sink more money into it, but where else can you get an extended cab pick-em-up truck for $1300.

If it sees the summer, I'll be happy.
